Hold’em Poker Sit and Go Report: Elephants and Monkeys are Dangerous in Texas Holdem Poker Tourney’s

[ English ]

There are various excellent tools to use when betting on line sit and go tournaments to use in profiling your opponents. Texas Hold’em Indicator and Poker Prophecy come to mind as top rated computer software that work across the board on all sites. Knowing your challenger and his playing style frequently is the difference between generating the money, or not. As a sit and go expert, making the money regularly is a full time endeavor to be certain, made even harder by 2 types of gamblers I call Elephants and Monkeys.

Your computer software can assist you identify these players, so too can you notate their tendencies when you bet on on Full Tilt using their color coding system. I code Elephants in GREEN, which means they’re quite loose players – loose/passive to become more accurate. They rarely raise, but they rarely fold too. I don’t often try to take any players off their hand early, specially true, if I do not even have them profiled. Tip: this is yet an additional reason to sit and watch in the beginning rounds! An elephant is friendly and wants to be in quite a few arms with friends. He will limp from any position, and typically plays any 2 suited cards, and ace-anything. The bad thing about those palms, other than losing money is that they win once in awhile as well, generally to much stronger starting palms that produce large pots for the elephant, allowing him to hang around and be friendly longer than expected. You can’t bluff an elephant. They cannot read well, and don’t respond to hostility, so your bluffs are pretty a lot useless against them, your weapon is patience and building a pot in the right time.

Monkeys are very much the exact same profile as elephants except they are even worse in that they understand the game even less. At least elephants know what a succeeding palm is, where monkeys may perhaps have to get shown who had the winning palm, what the superior flush was, or even that a flush beats a straight. They aren’t necessarily new to the casino game, just untrainable. In fact, they’re sub-human poker players. You might be able to place an elephant on a flush draw, very good luck attempting to place a monkey on a hand. Again, setting these gamblers up with your value fingers is important, though avoiding aggression – you’ll will need the most effective hand at the river so when you cannot obtain there reasonably inexpensive – save your chips for an additional confrontation. I use the PURPLE colour important to know I’ve bet this monkey before.

Texas Hold em Indicator is actually a poker calculator I use in my sit and go games, and it helps in iding these gamblers because it also collects stats on your opponents when you are playing. I discover that aspect of it very handy, and have used it to steer clear of specific gamblers, whilst generating moves on others. I’ve a video presentation of this method in my free of charge video series and you might be welcome to it. In the meantime, attempt and place the elephant at your sit and go table ahead of you receive engaged in a hand.
